Aries

This first and third sign combination of the fiery Trinity usually makes an ideal partnership. In fact, my own Mother and Father are this combination. They stayed together for 19 years. Upon close examination of their synastry, there are aspects that make the long haul difficult. Most people of these matches are in it for life.

The Mars-Jupiter duo are usually an ideal match for each other. Both are creatures of impulse. Both can have outside interest without conflict or friction from the other. The Sagittarius banner is "liberty, and the pursuit of happiness"; Aries is usually willing to subscribe to this theory. And for that reason, this makes them a good match.

With the Taurean being possessive and the Sagittarien being freedom loving, the sagitarian may find this hard to cope with. Sagitarians are frank and generous, this trait being of a Jupiter influence can clash with Taurean jealousy. The Taurus who marries a Sagittarien will find that no amount of arguing or berating is going to change the reckless sagittarian.

These are two very different personality types, with like character traights. The more reserved Taurus and the outgoing Sagittarius both have an appreciation for the truth, while Sagittarius is less tactful about divulging it. Taurus will have difficulty with the sagittarian need to be on the go however and Sagittarius will not want to sit and admire things with taurus for too long With some understanding they can find harmony in their characters as long as they allow each other their personalities.

Here are two signs with one goal - freedom of limb and action. They are usually a compatible combination with both being frank, outspoken, and a certain amount of personal freedom is cherished. Inconsistency is mutually agreeable to these two astrological affinities.

They meet on a common ground, and can plan their lives with equanimity. Sometimes there will be times when the love nest will become ruffled and the feathers will fly, these lovebirds will fight more for the sake of diversion then for blood.

Cancer

Problems could be the word for the day should these two decide to get married, unless each one is willing to attempt a complete change of their star-predicted personalities. Cancer admires everything about the Sagittarian- here lies the problem, once the cancer has captured the busy footed, roving eyed Sagittarian , he or she will find it a "more than I bargained for proposition". Cancer is not going to keep the sagittarian partner close to the hearth. Cancer's home is his castle, but for the sagittarian home is just a place to hang his hat. Be careful with this combination.

A water and fire combination. There is a vast difference in natures here and the likelyhood of being compatible is all but impossible, unless there are mitigating aspects in other areas of their charts. Sagittarius is outgoing and forthright which will make cancer uneasy. Cancer is too needy for sagittarius. On the good side, they are both generous people.

Leo

This makes an excellent combination most of the time. It is said that fire must be fought with fire, and it seems to fit for the marriage of these two signs, with little exceptions. Both love change and excitement and have a great zest for life. Both are domineering, that's where the danger lies; this could lead to trouble if the Leo tried to relegate the sagittarian to the sidelines. Sagittairans with their independent nature would rebel, this could lead to a serious rift in the partnership.

This is an excellent combination for the most part unless sagittarius is in need of to much freedom and leo becomes too bossy.

Virgo

The Sagittarius love of freedom and change may prove too much for the meticulous virgo cosmopoliton. The Sagittarius male could easily fall in love with the virgo female. Her neat and clean ways intrigues him , but once he is married, he may soon find that he got more than he bargained for. He finds that the things that he liked most before he got married put him in a straight jacket after marriage. If its one thing a Sagittarius doe not like its bickering and a virgo will find plenty to bicker about.

The differences here are like day and night. Virgo with his/her eye on today and what needs to be done and sagittarius with their eye on tomorrow and what they'd like to be doing. Not all bad but difficult to reconcile.

Libra

Sagittarius 's philosophy of life may be to much for the free and easy going libra to cope with. However , this is a good marital combination. Libra will get all the excitement they want if they marry Sagittarius. The only question will be is will libra's endurance be able to last through the long haul with the Sagittarius partner? The libran love of beauty, luxury, and social whirl appeals to the Sagittarius,. but he will not be tied to the libran apron-string. Sagittarius hates bondage and can not be confined, and will not tolerate bondage, whether it be legal or not, and will use all the means at his command to break through bonds.

Again we have the tactful libra nature surfacing to create some harmony in the relationship.They will do well together, if sagittarius can manage to be around enough to fulfill libra's need for togetherness.

Scorpio

Scorpio is dominant by nature, but Scorpio will have trouble keeping their Sagittarian partner under control. This freedom loving sign will surly bring out the worst in Scorpios nature. Mutual distrust is easy here. The Scorpion possessiveness will make life unbearable for Sagittarius. It is true that from the sexual standpoint, Scorpio is attractive to the Sagittarian lust, but thats where the compatibility ends. Not a recommended combination.

Live and learn is about the best thing to expect here. Both can bring out some of the other's better qualities but the chance of anything long lasting is remote.

If this combination is not on the same intellectual and social plane, there is little hope for this couple to have a long happy relationship. They will have to do everything together or nothing at all. All interests being social and business must be the same. Both are freedom lovers but even this must be enjoyed together, as neither male nor female is willing to sit at home while the other has a night on the town. Look before you leap will be good advise if this couple is to get together.

Two lively, optomistic people on the go all the time. This could work if some attention is given to the relationship. It could also suffer from lack of attention since both will be off somewhere doing something other than maintaining togetherness. May work better as friends or partners.

Capricorn

Unless Sagittarius can clip their wings a bit, there is strong warning against this combination. Their temperament are entirely different, one is optimistic, the other is pessimistic. The devil-may-care attitude of Sagittarius may prove to be too much for the somber and restrictive temperament of Capricorn. This would surely make the sagittarian unhappy, as he or she would have the type of love that "passes all understanding" to find any happiness at all with this combination.

Here again we see the difference between the austere, conservative capricorn and the outgoing, risk taking sagittarius. Not much in the way of compatibility but as with most combinations they can learn from each other.

Aquarius

The combination usually has a great chance for success.Both temperament are very much alike. This is a purely social combination that will revel in a large group of friends and public-spirited associates. Sagittarius readily understands the moods and peculiarities of the Aquarius, and will make the necessary allowances, the sagittarian appreciates and expects the same from the Aquarius. Both love change, travel, and excitement, so this should work out very good.

There is a very good chance for a successful relationship. Many of your values are alike and your need to be outgoing and sociable is inherent in both of you. You both understand the need to let the other be when they need their freedom.

Pisces

Sagittarius being free and easy will find pisces too much of a heavy load to haul around. Though there is much here for an interesting and sincere relationship, Sagittarius may find that the marriage to pisces is too confining.
