Aries

Not a hopeful combination. Saturn, represented by Father Time, is the Capricorn standard bearer. Thus, Capricorns are ussually very patient. Capricorn are traditionally laid back and easy going. Ariens are too impatient to cope with the slow, methodical plodding of the Capricorn nature. The Capricorn goat will butt up against the Martian will and an impasse is bound to occur. In the matter of sex there is an affinity; however, their inherent personalities clash.

Here we see the combination of a fire sign with an earth sign. Aries is a fiery in nature while capricorn is more down to earth, cautious and reserved. Aries prefers to take action while capricorn would rather plan and wait. Without a great deal of tolerence, there is not much hope for this union.

Taurus

With both partners having mutual understanding of each other's personalities this can be a very compatible marriage. Venus and Saturn blend very well from a emotional point of view. Both need a certain amount of flattery and encouragement, but Taurus will be the one who must take the lead in this direction. While Capricorn may seem a bit cold and aloof at first, the warm rays of Venus will soon melt the exterior of caution and prudence that is inherent in all Capricorns.

A good combination of the basic earth signs. Both are responsible and practical natures. They even have a mutual desire for success and material things. There is a need to infuse some light-hearted fun when things become too serious, even some conservative fun would be enough.

The Saturn ruled Capricorn will be at odds with the Mercury ruled Gemini. Patience is a virtue with Capricorn, but not so with Gemini. Unless there is a willingness to slow down and heed the good advice of the Capricorn mate, much dissension and unhappiness is in the stars. regardless of opposition , Capricorn's great drive to excel, will prove to be too much for the Gemini. Until they are both ready to trim their sails, the goat of Capricorn will go on butting until he gains the upper hand.

The natural need to communicate for gemini can get a bit bogged down under the influence of capricorn. You may need to agree to a truce based on getting on with things. It's not all bad because there are complimentary factors at play with the experience of capricorn and the high spirited gemini.Of course if you know two people that are these signs, anything is possible!

Cancer and Capricorn are 180 degrees in opposition from each other astrologically speaking, but it need not be true in life. Both signs have plenty in common. Capricorn has the ability to make cancer's dream come true, while cancer is happy wishing for and wanting the success and security that the Capricorn mate strives for.

The elements of water and earth go well together but these are zodiac opposites you can expect both side of the coin. You'll have to take the good with the bad and there will be plenty of both. Capricorn lacks the warmth and sentiment that cancer requires.

The slow Capricorn may prove to be too much for the carefree nature of Leo. Leo forgives and forgets; Capricorn being the one who is slow to anger and seldom forgets. This pair would not form the ideal basis for mutual understanding. This is especially true on matters of sex. The Capricorn has the tendency to be of suspicious motives, while Leo will wholeheartedly enter the arena with no thought of consequences . The "hail fellow well met" attitude of Leo's nature will prove to be too much for Capricorn to cope with through the long haul.

These two are almost complete opposites, the conservative capricorn and the flambouyant leo. Leo likes to live for the moment and capricorn prefers to make calculated movements.

With these two signs there are some similarity and compatibility. They are both very exacting. This stops many areas of disagreement. they both take great pride in appearance and surroundings. They can find a friend in each other, when the outside world is to much to cope with. This Mercury-Sun combination should find mutual grounds for an agreeable partnership.

These are two earth signs who will find complimenary values in their sense of the practical and realistic needs of life. The relationship could suffer from lack of romance, as both tend to be a bit reserved in this area.

Libra

On the surface these two seem to be on the opposite, but the taciturn Capricorn is very much intrigued by libra. If libra does not find the steady Capricorn nature too boring, there is good chance here for a successful marriage. The Capricorn before he marries is far more liberal on his view s on sex before marriage then he will be afterward. Libra had better screen the social environment to suit capricorn's views or there may be some embarrassing moments later on.

Unless capricorn can open up a little more there could be problems here. Libra requires affection and capricorn tends to put it off.

Scorpio

This is a very hard combination to analyze. With scoripo's strong and powerful personality, Capricorn may clash, fighting for the last word when it comes to important decisions pertaining to family welfare. Capricorn can be mighty disagreeable when frustrated, and Scorpio will have to use the sting of the scorpian barb to move the Capricorn goat from a set course. The emotional incompatibility usually becomes unbearable for the combination to handle.

For practical matters there are common traits, but the stubborn nature of both signs could make them enemies when things get down and dirty.

Sagittarius

Unless Sagittarius can clip their wings a bit, there is strong warning against this combination. Their temperament are entirely different, one is optimistic, the other is pessimistic. The devil-may-care attitude of Sagittarius may prove to be too much for the somber and restrictive temperament of Capricorn. This would surely make the sagittarian unhappy, as he or she would have the type of love that "passes all understanding" to find any happiness at all with this combination.

Here again we see the difference between the austere, conservative capricorn and the outgoing, risk taking sagittarius. Not much in the way of compatibility but as with most combinations they can learn from each other.

There is much compatibility between these two signs which should make for an enduring marriage. Both have the same long range aspirations and the basic qualities to attain them. They both have the same faults, which may keep fault finding down to a minimum. With important issues, they would both have what it takes to over come any hardship. Great mixture for a happy relationship.

The biggest problem here will be keeping things lively and new. You are of course both alike in your values and many of your actions. Things could become too serious for too long and stubborness could cause some alienation. If you can get past these things and communicate once in awhile you may enjoy the things that make you like personalities.

Aquarius

This is a very hard combination to analyze. The sure footed Capricorn may prove to be too much for the nimble water bearer Aquarius, who aims to make the world a better place to live in. Capricorn wants all effort and anything else Aquarius has to give- to be centered at home for their mutual good. Capricorn does not like the interest that Aquarius shows to other people. Aquarius doe not like confinement or restriction at all, and may fly the coop to go out into the world to find something more suitable. A very doubtful combination.

There is a huge difference in values and personality here. The organized capricorn and the never organized aquarius. Too many other differences as well and unless you have other compatible aspects in your birthcharts, don't expect a long lasting affair.
